Dade County High School’s volleyball team will see its first action of the 2025 season on Tuesday, Aug. 5, when they host the Coosa Lady Eagles at 5 p.m., and then face the Lady Warriors of Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe at 7 p.m.

Volleyball coach Carrie Morris gave the Sentinel some insight into what to expect from the Lady Wolverines this season:

“We are going to need some of our new players to step up right away,” Morris said. “There is a lot of talent and potential–we just need to put the pieces together. The team will also rely on returning athletes to embrace new responsibilities. We are asking a few players to step into different roles this year. It is all about adapting and growing. We are excited about what this group can do,” Morris said.

Get out and support Lady Wolverine volleybal! They will play at home again on Aug. 7 when they host Murray County at 5 p.m. and South Pittsburg, Tenn., at 7 p.m.

Two great opportunities next week to see the Lady Wolverines in action!
