Camden Smith (who wrestles under the ring name Ty Rose) is a 20-year-old, second generation, professional wrestler from Trenton, Ga. He won Primetime Wrestling’s Rome Heritage Heavyweight Wrestling Championship on July 19.

Ty is the son of professional wrestler Pat Rose who wrestled in the NWA (National Wrestling Alliance), WCW (World Championship Wrestling), and WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), facing opponents like Ric Flair, The Brisco Brothers, Tommy Rich, and many others. While Ty has only been wrestling for less than a year, he has the guidance of a father who has been in the ring with the best.

This past Saturday night, Ty defeated wrestler AZ. While some fans speculate that Pat assisted his son in the win, it is apparent that the Roses are here to stay in the sport of professional wrestling. Fans can follow along with Ty’s career on Instagram (@tyrosewrestling) and Facebook (Ty Rose Wrestling).
