Lady Wolverines Takes Match From Lady Bulldogs, Falls To Lady Trojans

The Dade County Lady Wolverine volleyball team hosted the Lady Bulldogs of Trion on Tuesday, Oct. 1, in a big region match.
It turned out to be a hard-fought match with the Lady Wolverines taking the first set 25-16 only to see the visitors rally to take the second set 25-15.
After those first two sets the matches got really close as the Lady Bulldogs took the third set 26-24.
Dade County then rallied for a big 25-21 win in the fourth set and came back and took the fifth set 15-7 to claim the match 3-2.
The Lady Wolverines were led by Azairah Reed with 36 assists and Caroline Bell with 25 kills and 13 digs in the five-set match and Alyson Jenkins with 18 digs.
That win set up a match with the Lady Trojans of Gordon Lee on Thursday, Oct. 3 at Chickamauga.
Dade struggled in that match, dropping all three sets, 16-25, 17-25, and 17-25, and the match 3-0.
Reed again led the Lady Wolverines with 13 assist and Caroline Bell with 10 digs and eight kills.
