Lady Wolverines Fall To Model, LFO

Photo by Eddy Gifford – The Lady Wolverines’ Taylor Shrader goes for the kill in recent volleyball action. The team has two big matches this week as they enter the latter half of the season.
The Dade County Lady Wolverine volleyball team dropped a couple of matches at Model last week.
In the first match, they fell to the Lady Blue Devils 21-25 and then dropped the second set 23-25 in the hard-fought contest.
Azairah Reed led the Lady Wolverines with 14 assists, two digs; Caroline Bell with six kills, five digs; and Alyson Jenkins with six digs, two aces.
Next up for Dade County was Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe High School and again the Lady Wolverines fought hard but came up just short in two sets, 21-25 and 18-25.
Dade was led by Reed with digs, and two kills; Alyson Jenkins with six digs; Caroline Bell with four digs, five kills.
The Lady Wolverines traveled to Trion Tuesday and will host the Chattooga Lady Indians on Sept. 12 with that match scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
