Volleyball Opens Season Thursday, Football Will Scrimmage Marion Co.

The Dade County High School Wolverine football team will get their first action against an opponent this week when they travel to Marion County on Friday for a scrimmage. The scrimmage will begin at 6:30 p.m. EST.

Next week’s season opener will be at home against the Ringgold Tigers. That game has been moved to Thursday, Aug. 15, at 7:30 p.m. due to a shortage of officials. Be sure to mark your calendars and come out to support the Wolverines on Thursday night!

The Lady Wolverine volleyball team will get into action this week as well.

On Tuesday, they will travel to South Pittsburg for a 6:30 p.m. EST match. On Thursday, they will host Coahulla Creek beginning at 5 p.m. They will be at home again Aug. 12 when they host South Pittsburg and Marion County beginning at 5 p.m.

Get out and support the Lady Wolverine volleyball team as the 2024 season gets underway.
