Wolverine Golfers Qualify For State

The Dade County High School boys golf team qualified for state last week shooting a 376 and placing third at Meadow Lake Golf Course in Rome.

The Wolverines were led by Mason Weathers who shot an 80. Lucas Weathers shot a 96, Kooper Knight shot a 99, Ethan Williams shot a 101, Heath Walters shot a 106, and Eli Ryan shot a 116.

Darlington won the event with a 291, and Lamar County was second with a 338.

The Wolverines will represent DCHS at the state tournament May 20 and 21 in Statesboro.
