Fishing Teams Have Strong Showing

The Dade County Schools’ fishing teams competed in their third tournament of the season on Saturday, March 9, at Nickajack Lake. The Wolverines had two boats that weighed in fish. Both teams finished in the top quarter of the 70 boats in the tournament. The team of Jake Harris and River McBryar (top photo) finished in 11th place with 11.70 pounds while the team of Gary Dean and Carter Ryan (bottom photo) finished 18th with 7.96 pounds.
