Dade County’s Track Team Sets 37 Personal Records at Gordon Lee Meet

The Dade County Wolverine track and field team traveled to Gordon Lee on Thursday, March 7 to compete against Gordon Lee, Ridgeland, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, and LaFayette high schools.

Wolverine coach Steve Green said, “I was very proud of our kids. They recorded 37 personal records and placed high in several events. Both boys and girls compete over their heads and continue to steadily improve.”

The Wolverines will have a home meet this Friday beginning at 4 p.m.

Boys: 100 Meter Dash – Solomon Doe, 5th; 200 Meter Dash – Halen Chaney 3rd; 400 Meter Dash – Solomon Doe, 1st; Paul Allen Phillips, 3rd; 800 Meter Run – Tanner Miller, 1st; 1600 Meter Run – Tanner Miller, 1st; 3200 Meter Run – Tanner Miller, 1st; Rock Chaney, 2nd; Lane Johnson, 3rd; 110 Meter Hurdles – Jace Anderson, 1st; 300 Meter Hurdles – Jace Anderson, 1st; 4×100 Meter Relay – Dade County, 3rd; 4×400 Meter Relay – Dade County, 1st; High Jump – Waylon Mitchell, 2nd; Long Jump – Braylon Sullivan, 3rd; Triple Jump – Braylon Sullivan, 1st; Pole Vault – Ryan Morris, 4th; Discus – Alden Kerns – 2nd; Shot Put – Alden Kerns, 4th.
