Volleyball Picks Up Wins Over Trion and Chattooga

The Dade County High School Lady Wolverine volleyball team had a pair of big region matches last week when they faced the Lady Indians of Chattooga and the Lady Bulldogs of Trion in their first region matches of the year.
Dade County had its hand full against the Lady Indians of Chattooga, dropping the first set by a score of 25-18. The Lady Wolverines quickly regrouped and took the second set, in a close one, 25-23.
In the tie breaker, Dade coasted to a 15-10 win to take the match 2-1.
Their next match was against the Lady Bulldogs of Trion, and it was a challenging match as well with the Lady Wolverines taking the first set 25-23.
DCHS battled all the way in another close set with the Lady Bulldogs coming away with a 25-20 win and taking the match 2-0.
On Tuesday, Sept. 12, the Lady Wolverines will travel to Rome to face Coosa High School and Rome High School.
Tomorrow, Sept. 14, they will be at home to face Christian Heritage and Dalton Academy with matches starting at 5 p.m.
