All Fall Sport Athletes Will be Recognized at Meet the Wolverines

Dade County Schools will be back in session this week, and sports activity has already started for fall sports. The Lady Wolverines softball team played a scrimmage game at LaFayette on Tuesday and will open the regular season at home on Saturday when they face the Lady Panthers of Ridgeland High School. The doubleheader will start at noon with the second game immediately following the first.
Wolverine sports fans will have a chance to “Meet the Wolverines” on Friday, Aug. 4, at Magic Morgan Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event will be a case of Gatorade or Powerade.
All the fall sports for the high school, middle school, and recreational league will be on hand and participating in the introductions and some will practice while others will have small performances.
The high school and middle school sports include football, softball, cross country, volleyball, and cheerleading.
Recreation sports will include football, soccer, and cheer.
Everyone come out and support the Dade County athletes as they prepare for the upcoming season and show your appreciation for their hard work!
