Wolverines Defeat Warriors, Fall to Bison

The Dade County High School golf team took on North Sand Mountain last week at Trenton Golf Club and dropped a close match, 175-191 to the Bison.

Kooper Knight and Mason Weathers who each shot 42 led Dade County. Heath Walters shot a 51, Avery Flatt shot a 56, Lucas Weathers shot a 66, and Ethan Williams shot a 70.

The Bison’s Jarrett Hill and Blake Maples were low medalists with each shooting a round of 40.

The Wolverines faced Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe on Friday and came out on top, defeating the Warriors 198-218.

The Wolverines’ Mason Weathers was low medalist with a round of 40 that included five pars and a birdie. Knight shot a 50 while Flatt shot a 53, Walters shot 56 and both Lucas Weathers and Williams shot 56.
