Season Comes to an End for Tennis Teams

The Dade County Wolverine tennis teams traveled to Rome last week for the regional tennis tournament for both girls’ and boys’ varsity tennis teams.
Both teams worked hard all season improving their ground strokes, net play, and serves.
Their first match was against Pepperell High School. The Wolverines had lost to them early in the season but were hoping to upset the Dragons this go around.
At the end of the match, both teams came up a little short. However, each line immensely improved their game score compared to our first meeting.
Coach Jennifer Wood and Coach Ben were extremely proud of their hard work this year. “This team had great chemistry and the best attitudes on and off the court. They represented Dade County High School well,” Coach Wood said.
