Wolverines Hosting Bulldogs at Trenton Golf Course on Thursday

Dade County High School’s golf team had a pair of matches last week, taking on the Model Blue Devils at Stonebridge Golf Course in Rome.
The Wolverines fell to the Blue Devils by the final score of 199-207.

Mason Weathers led the Wolverines with a score of 44 while Heath Walters shot a 50, Avery Flatt shot a 56, and Kooper Knight finished with a 57. Ethan Williams finished with a 58 and Lucas Weathers finished with a 61.

On Wednesday, March 22 the Wolverines traveled to Scottsboro, Ala., for the Scottsboro Invitational Tournament at Goose Pond Colony Golf Course.

The Wolverines finished 14th in the 18-hole event with a score of 401.

Mason Weathers led them with a score of 86. Not far behind was Knight at 98, while Walters shot a 101, Flatt shot a 116, and Williams shot a 118.

Scottsboro High School won the event with a score of 323. Jarrett Hill from North Sand Mountain High School was the low medalist, shooting a 75.

The Wolverines will be in action this week when they host the Trion Bulldogs at Trenton Golf Course on Thursday, March 30, with the match starting at 4 p.m.
