Wolverines Rally Against Indians

The Wolverine soccer team was back in action last week with a pair of region games.

After an early-week region loss to Trion (5-0), the Wolverines were back Thursday night hosting the Chattooga Indians.

Despite a rocky first-half start, the Wolverines rallied in the final 40 minutes of play. Connecting through composed link-up play, freshman

Joseph Daniel slotted sophomore Chase Mayo through the Indian backline to fire home Dade’s first goal.

Minutes later, the Wolverines capitalized on a clever dummy run from freshman Carter Bradford as Mayo poked home a second bag doubling the Dade advantage. The hometown boys staved off a handful of Chattooga chances to maintain the scoreline and see the match out.

The Wolverines will be back in action this week with a heavy match slate that saw them travel to LaFayette on Tuesday and then host Chattanooga Prep on Wednesday and Coosa on Friday.
