The Lady Wolverines continued their winning ways by defeating region foe Trion on Tuesday, March 14 by a score of 4-0.

Oli Conrad (2), Anna Ballard, and Kinsley Pryor scored goals. Assists came from Abby Dwyer and Conrad. Strong defensive play from Madeline Jelley, Blythe Jelley, Ayden Miles, Chloe Ballard, Maddie Cuzzort, Alyson Jenkins, and goalkeeper Abbigail Tremmier helped keep the shutout for DCHS.

The win moves the Lady Wolverines to nine and two on the season and maintains their unblemished region record of four wins, zero losses.

The Lady Wolverines faced Chattooga on Thursday evening, March 16 and came away victorious, 5-0.

Goals were scored by Lila Evearitt (2) and Conrad (3), while Anna Ballard had the lone assist on the night.

Great defensive play from the defensive line limited Chattooga’s chances as Tremmier only needed to make two saves on the night.

The match was a friendly and did not count towards region standings, so the Lady Wolverines remain at four wins, zero losses in the region and move to 10-2 on the season.

With two regular season weeks left, the Lady Wolverines played a non-region match at LaFayette on March 21 and will finish the season with region matches against Coosa on March 24, Chattooga on March 27, and Armuchee on March 30.
