Dade Rolls by Dalton Academy

The Wolverine basketball team hosted Dalton Academy Tuesday, Dec. 13, a new region for them this year. Dalton Academy is just getting its sports program started and this is the first year of competition in basketball.
Dade wasted little time in taking command of the game as they outscored the Pumas 21-7 in the first quarter.

Payne, Ala., Wildcats on Saturday. The Wolverines will be playing in the Sale Creek Tournament this week before the Christmas break.
The Wolverines continued to dominate in the second quarter outscoring Dalton Academy again, this time 26-19, and taking a big 47-26 lead at the end of the first half.
Dade did not play as well in the third quarter but still managed to outscore the Pumas 14-10 and led 61-36 heading into the fourth quarter.
The Wolverines found their range again in the fourth quarter scoring 23 points and taking the region win by the final score of 84-48.
Braylan Jones led the Wolverines with 24-points while Kade Pardue scored 16, and Jace Anderson scored 10.

The Wolverines traveled to Ft. Payne, Ala., on Saturday afternoon to face the Wildcats for the first time in several years.
Dade got off to a slow start, falling behind early and at the end of the first half the host were up by five points, 19-12.
The Wolverines really struggled in the second quarter as Ft. Payne outscored them 17-5 to take the lead 36-17 at the end of the first half.
That second quarter proved to be the downfall as Dade outscored the Wildcats 14-12 in the third quarter and then both teams scored 20-points in the fourth quarter.
The Wildcats came away with a 68-51 win over the Wolverines.
Brody Cooper and Zach Counts led the Wolverines with 11 and 10 points respectively as 12 Wolverines scored points in the game.
