DCHS Cross Country Team Competes At State Meet

Dade County High School’s boys cross country team advanced to the 2022 Cross Country State Championship, which was held last Saturday, Nov. 5, at Carrolton High School.

Thirty Class A–Division 1 schools competed with over 200 athletes running.  Dade finished 11th out of the 30 teams.
The team is coached by Philip Bell.

Individual results for the Wolverines in the 5000 meter run were: Tanner Miller – 19:03.76 (51st), Jack Dupree – 19:11.17 (54th), Daniel Goff – 20:13.63 (79th), Rock Chaney – 20:44.18 (95th), Halen Chaney – 20:50.32 (99th), Phinehas Doe – 22:25.90 (135th) and Ian Byrd – 22:48.69 (144th).
