Lady Wolverines Are 3–0 In Region Soccer

The Dade County Lady Wolverine soccer team is off to a great start this season, currently sporting a 5-1-1 record.

After an opening season loss to Coahulla Creek 5-1 the Lady Wolverines have been red hot.

The team’s first win came against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 3-1, and they followed that with a big 4-0 win over Gordon Central.

After playing Ridgeland to a tie 1-1, they faced them again a week later and came away with an impressive 3-1 win.

A pair of region 7-AA foes were next for the Lady Wolverines as they took care of business against Chattooga with a big 3-0 win at home and then traveled to Pepperell for another impressive 5-0 win.

This week they were scheduled to play Model on Monday and then host Pepperell on Friday.

The Lady Wolverines are currently 3-0 in Region 7-AA play, just behind Model at 4-0. Fannin County is third at 4-1 and Gordon Central fourth at 2-2.

The Wolverine soccer team has struggled early currently sitting at 1-4 on the season 0-2 in Region 7-AA.

The team started the season with a big loss to Gordon Central 10-0.

After that loss they have played much better, losing to Ridgeland twice 3-1 and 3-0 before picking up a big win over Chattooga 4-1. They followed that win with a tough 2-1 loss to Pepperell.

The Wolverines are currently just behind Coosa in Region 7-AA with Gordon Central leading the region with a 4-0 record. The are followed by Model at 2-0, Fannin County 1-2 and Pepperell -13.

They will be in action with the same schedule as the Lady Wolverines this week.
