The awards just keep coming for this year’s Wolverine football team as two assistant coaches were recognized by ParkerResources.org as Class AA Coaches of the Year.

Coach Jason Monday has been a community coach for the Wolverines for the past several years and was elevated from linebackers’ coach to also holding the title of defensive coordinator this season. His laser focus on Friday nights helped boost the Wolverines to a successful 7-4 season.

Coach Monday coached three Wolverine linebackers who were recognized by Region 7-AA coaches this season. Cody Williams, Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Xander Lynch, Second Team All-Region, and Landon Williams, Second Team All-Region.

ParkerResources.org also recognized Coach David Swader as a Class AA Assistant Coach of the Year. Coach Swader has been the strength and conditioning coach as well as the offensive coordinator for the Wolverines this season and has been a part of the Wolverine sports programs for many years.

Coach Swader works hard for the student athletes in all sports and led the Wolverines football team offense to a successful season.

Congratulations to these coaches and the much-deserved recognition and their dedication to Wolverine athletics.
