DCHS Volleyball Team Drops Match With Lady Yellow Jackets

The Dade County High School Lady Wolverine volleyball team traveled to Calhoun on Tuesday, Aug. 31 for a non-area match with the Lady Yellow Jackets.
Dade fought hard but dropped the first set 25-21 and then rallied to take the second set 25-20.
After that the Lady Wolverines struggled to stay with the Lady Yellow Jackets and dropped the next two sets 25-16 and 25-15 to drop the match 3-1.
Match highlights included: Logan Frint, four kills, seven kills, 15 digs; Kendal Emmett 13 digs; Ella Thomas, two digs; Zoie Smith, two aces, 10 assists, 17 digs; Brooklyn Konrad, two aces, three kills, two blocks, three digs; Heidi Raines, four kills, 13 digs; Delaynee Davis, 33 digs; and Abby Guffey, four kills, three blocks.
Dade is now 6-5 on the season.
This week the Lady Wolverines travel to Chattooga on Tuesday and then will play in a tournament on Saturday with the opponent to be announced.
