Volleyball Opens Season Thursday, Football Will Scrimmage Tigers Friday

Dade County High School athletics get into full swing this week as softball heads into its second week of play and two other sports kick off their seasons.

On Thursday afternoon the Lady Wolverine volleyball team opens its season when they host Marion County.

The junior varsity will start things off at 5:30 p.m., and the varsity will play at 6:30 p.m., in the DCHS gym. A complete volleyball schedule is listed on page B2.

On Friday the Wolverine varsity football team will travel to Ringgold to face the Tigers in a scrimmage game with kick–off at 7:30 p.m.

This is a good opportunity to get a look at the Wolverines before the team opens the season next Friday at home against the Gordon Lee Trojans.
