Wolverine Track Team Excels At Mohawk–Warrior Invitational

Ian Byrd came away with a third and second place finish in the pole vault for the Wolverines at the Invitational.

On Friday, Gordon Central High School hosted the Mohawk-Warrior Invitational. The high school teams competing at this event included Region 7AA teams Dade, Chattooga, Coosa, and Gordon Central and Calhoun, Franklin County, Gordon Lee, Kennesaw Mountain, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, Riverdale and Sonoraville.

This invitational featured 11 schools from all different classifications. When highlighting performances below, the first number identifies how the athlete performed overall, while the second number identifies how they performed within Region 7AA.

The following is a list of DCHS athletes who finished in the top five overall or in Region 7AA.
