Competition Cheerleaders Are State Bound

DCHS competition cheerleaders are headed to state competition! Dade County High School’s  Competition Cheerleaders competed at the Region 7-AA and Georgia High School Association State Sectionals last Saturday and finished fourth in the Region and sixth in Sectionals.

The team also secured their spot in the Sweet 16 and the GHSA State Cheerleading Championships on Monday, Feb. 15th.

Coach Josh Hurst said, “The Lady Wolverines have had an impressive season, finishing second at Pepperell, first at Dalton, and first at Heritage this year. This is the second trip in three years to the Sweet 16 and the team hopes to represent DCHS well at the state competition.”
