Volleyball Team Wraps Up Season

The Dade County Lady Wolverine volleyball team faced the Lady Bulldogs of Trion High School last week in an incredibly competitive match.

The Lady Wolverines won the first set 25-16 then dropped the next two sets 15-25 and 24-26 before rallying to take set four 25-21 and then won the match by taking the fifth set 15-7.

Azairah Reed had a big match with three aces, 16 digs, and 36 assists while Caroline Bell came up big as well with three aces, 12 digs, and 25 kills. Alyson Jenkins had three assists and 18 digs.

Next up for the Lady Wolverines was the Lady Trojans of Gordon Lee, and the season came to an end when Dade fell in three sets, 16-25, 17-25, and 17-25.

Bell led the Lady Wolverines with eight kills, ten digs; Reed with 13 assists; and Alyson Jenkins with seven digs.
