Dade County High School principal Brent Cooper presented Barry McCurdy, Major U.S. Army Retired, with the 2024 Alumni of the Year Award at halftime of the Wolverines football game Friday night. The award read, “For your service, dedication and distinguished 24-year career in the U.S. Army.”
