The Wolverines then put together a long drive and scored their second touchdown of the game when Koger broke free for a long touchdown run with 6:33 remaining in the game. The Wolverines try for a two-point conversion was good and they led 14-0.
On Dade County’s next possession Demetrius Walker broke free and raced into the end zone for the third touchdown of the night with 4:25 remaining in the game. The extra point kick was good, and the Wolverines led 21-0.
The Indians managed to score with less than a minute remaining in the game, but the Wolverines pulled out the hard-fought win, 21-7 for the first region win of the season.
