The Dade County High School Lady Wolverine softball team hosted the Coosa Lady Eagles on Tuesday, Sept. 10, as they continue their way through the region schedule.
The Lady Eagles were set down in order to start the game by Camy Chambers as she recorded a couple of strikeouts and a pop fly out.
It was a big first inning for Dade as they completely dominated the visitors from Rome by scoring 12 first inning runs and then coasting to an easy three inning victory 15-0 after scoring three runs in the bottom of the third to end the game on the run rule.
Coosa got its only hit in the second inning, a single, as Chambers pitched three innings, facing just ten batters, allowing the one hit, striking out six and throwing just 37 pitches in recording the win.
The Lady Wolverines collected 11 hits in the three-inning game led by Lexi Lawson’s two hits, two runs, and an RBI, while Isabell White also had two hits, one run and one RBI.

The Lady Trojans scored the game’s first run in the bottom of the second inning to take a 1-0 lead and would go on to score single runs in four consecutive innings to take the win over the Lady Wolverines 4-0.
Dade County was no hit by L. Wilson of the Lady Trojans who walked three and struck out nine on her way to the no-hitter and the 4-0 win securing their number one ranking and top spot in Region 7.
Lawson pitched a strong game for the Lady Wolverines but on this day that was not enough to pull out the win.

That would be the only run of the game as Dade held on to win 1-0.
