Midnight Madness Marks Start Of Season

Midnight Madness marked the start of the 2024 Wolverine season when they hit the field at 12:01 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, the first official practice day for the upcoming season.
The early morning practice also gave the Wolverines an opportunity to show off the new LED lights that were installed this summer.
A few diehard fans were on hand to watch the Wolverines go through their first practice for the upcoming season with near perfect conditions on the perfectly manicured field.

The Wolverines will travel to Marion County on Friday, Aug. 9, for a controlled scrimmage with the Warriors and will open the season at home on Aug. 16, when they host the Ringgold Tigers at 7:30 p.m.
On Friday, Aug. 23, the Wolverines will host the Trion Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. This will be a non-region game this year as Trion has moved to class A D2 Region 7.
On Friday, Aug. 30, the Wolverines will travel to LaFayette for their final non-region game of the season.
The Wolverines will again be in class A D1 Region 7 this year and will face Christian Heritage (Dalton), Fannin County (H), Armuchee, Gordon Lee (H), Coosa, Chattooga (H), and Gordan Central (H).
