Wolverines Hit The Field In Preparation For 2024 Season

It’s here! Wolverine football practice starts this week as the coaches and players prepare for the upcoming season that will kick off in early August.

This week, the Wolverines practice Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5–8 p.m. and on Thursday, they will travel to Heard County for a padded camp.

Next week will be busy as the Wolverines practice on Monday from 5-8 p.m. On Tuesday, July 16, beginning at 9 a.m. the Wolverines will be hosting a 7 on 7. Teams scheduled to participate include Marion County, South Pittsburg, Howard, Valley Head, Plainview, Scottsboro, and Cleveland. That will be a good day to get out and see teams from the area as they compete with each other.

Regular afternoon practices will be held the rest of the week.

The week of the 22nd is acclimation week with practices from 5-8 p.m., Monday through Friday.

On July 29, the Wolverines will have Midnight Madness practice, the first official practice in pads at 12 a.m. under the lights!
