DCHS Golfers Begin State Play Monday

The Dade County High School golf team will be participating in the state tournament on Monday, May 20.

The Wolverine boys golf team qualified for state by finishing third in the region tournament shooting a 376 at Meadow Lake Golf Course in Rome recently.

Dade County was led by Mason Weathers who shot an 80. Lucus Weathers shot a 96, Kooper Knight shot a 99, Ethan Williams shot a 101, Heath Walters shot a 106, and Eli Ryan shot a 116. They will be traveling to Statesboro to play at Georgia Southern Golf Course.

They will travel on Saturday, play a practice round on Sunday, and participate in the Division 1A State Tournament on Monday, May 20, and Tuesday, May 21.
