New Salem’s 50th Mountain Festival

We couldn’t have asked for better weather for the 50th annual New Salem Mountain Festival on Oct. 11 and 12. Artisans sold their wares, vendors sold fall festival treats like popcorn and pork rinds, local musicians set the ambiance, and families enjoyed hay rides. Events like these take a community, and New Salem pulled together once again to make it a grand success.
