Inmates Clean Up County Roads

In recent weeks, Dade County Jail inmate workers have been picking up trash along roads throughout the county. The Dade County Sheriff’s Office reported that hundreds of pounds of trash have been collected, and in just one day, the workers gathered 63 bags of trash from Wells Road right-of-ways alone.

The sheriff’s office shared, “While we don’t mind staying busy providing this service, we ask that you help us keep our beautiful county clean and discard your trash in the appropriate places.”
