First Day Of Summer At Jenkins Pool

Photo by Lydia Berglar – Last Friday, June 20, was the first day of summer. After an unusually rainy spring, we welcomed summer with a hot, sunshine-filled day. Families put the city pool at Jenkins Park to great use with kids enjoying a round of the classic pool game Marco Polo, some adults soaking up the sun, others opting for the shade, and all appearing to have a great afternoon.
