Field Day Fun Kicks Off DES Spring Break

On March 27, Dade Elementary School students enjoyed kicking off spring break with a field day. Special guests included Dade County High School student volunteers and Dade County Sheriff’s Office deputies who challenged the fifth graders to tug-of-war. (The fifth graders won!)
Students cooled off with Kona Ice, and everyone involved enjoyed fun and games in the late March sunshine.
DES thanks Coach Page and Coach Williams for organizing the event as well as Dr. Beesley, Mrs. Elizabeth, and Mrs. Floyd for managing 18 stations and 636 students.
