ELIZABETH BROCK
Elizabeth Ann Brock, 87, of Wildwood, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Mrs. Brock was a member of the Brown’s Ferry Church of Christ and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Kenneth Brock; father, Thomas Jefferson Carroll; mother, Irene Mayhew Carrol; and brother, Thomas Jefferson Carroll, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Billy Kenneth (Donna) Brock, Jr., Jane (Bob) Rose, and Cecilia (Brian) Watkins; grandchildren, Shane (Stacy) Avery, Amy (Jason) Thompson, Allison (Tyler) Thompson, Garrett (Stephani) Brock, and Hailey (Tanner) Knox; great-grandchildren, Devin Avery, Ashlynn Avery, A.J. Thompson, Ruby Jane Thompson, Tessa Mae Thompson, John Tyler Thompson, Kooper Knox, and Carter Knox.

HOYT CAGLE
Hoyt Lindsey Cagle, 84, of Bryant, Ala., passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025.
Hoyt was known for his fun-loving spirit and his love for flowers. He was a carpenter in trade from a young boy which he learned to build houses from his dad and granddad. His unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was a central part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Arvie “Cotton” Cagle.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Joyce Cagle; daughters, Debra Abernathy (Larry) and Brenda Cagle; grandchildren, Britney (Bryan) Williams and Blake (Shana) Abernathy; great-grandchildren, Jace and Layla Abernathy, Isaac (Katelyn) Moreland, Nevaeh Williams, and Trinity Williams; sisters, Helen (Levernon) Higdon, Joanne Smith, and Wanda Black; great-grandchild due in May (Blake and Shana) and a great-great-grandchild due in June (Isaac and Katelyn).
Funeral services were Monday, March 2, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jim Hixon officiating. Interment was at Oak Lawn Cemetery.

RONNIE CASTLEBERRY
Ronald Leon “Ronnie” Castleberry, 75, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025.
Born on March 24, 1949, Ronnie lived a fulfilling life, marked by his unwavering kindness and dedication to family and faith. Ronnie enjoyed a successful career in the garage door business, where he sold and installed garage doors until his retirement. A skilled craftsman at heart, he took great pleasure in building things, he also loved collecting classic cars. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Trenton and took his faith seriously, engaging in mission work when he was able. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Barbara Castleberry; mother, Thelma Castleberry; brothers, Leslie (Shirley) Castleberry, Roger (Cathy) Castleberry, and Teddy (Kara) Castleberry; sister, Thelma Jean Belue; nieces and nephews, Jeff Glover, David Glover, Cory Castleberry, Kristy Castleberry, and Aundrea Trotman.
Funeral services were Saturday, March 1, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Betty Cornett and Brother Tim Renshaw officiating. Interment was at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

IOLA GADDIS
Ida Iola Gaddis, 77, of Trenton, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025.
She was one of 16 children, a graduate of Dade County High School and served as Postmaster for the USPS for over 41 years with a career beginning in Rossville and ending in the community of Wildwood. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Rising Fawn Baptist Church. She enjoyed walking outdoors, Andy Griffith and her dog Ruby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tinne and Walter Knight; brothers, Imon Jackson, Ivan and Kenneth “Buddy” Knight and sisters, Ila Mae Hill, Idora Thomas, Ivy Spears, Ima Jean Ausmus and Ivalene Downer.
Survivors include her daughters, MaShon and Myra Gaddis; sisters, Ina Faye Knight and Inez Hartline; grandchildren Joseph, Oscar, William and John Luke Coleman, Lilly Gaddis; great-grandson Nelson Gaddis; nieces and nephews.

Tracy Hammons
Tracy Hammons, 58, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025.
Tracy had a career as an automobile mechanic and heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Hammons.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Kim White Hammons; children, Jennifer White, Coty (Taylor) Morrow, and Hannah (Noah) Seale; grandchildren, Maverick King, Dallas, Kye, Lincoln, and Harper Morrow; siblings, Diann (Tim) Moreland, David (Mary) Hammons, & Don (Mary) Hammons; mother, Katie Hammons; nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services were Monday, March 3, in the funeral home chapel with Greg Steele officiating.

Dr. Tony Richardson
Dr. Tony L. Richardson, Esq., 46, of Rising Fawn, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025.
He spent many years in Florida where he practiced law as a prosecutor for the Department of Children and Families, and then later as an Adoption and Family Law Attorney. After leaving the practice of law, Tony began his true lifetime ambition of teaching. He worked at Dade County Schools as a paraprofessional before obtaining a teaching position in an inter-city school in Chattanooga, Tenn. Most recently, Tony returned to Dade County High School where he taught United States History.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Richardson of Athens, Ala.
Survivors include his husband of 25 years, Rodney Cartwright; son, Titus Cartwright; mother, Ellen Richardson of Athens, Ala.; in-laws, Ronnie and Carla Cartwright of Rising Fawn; sister, Tonya Holmberg of Lexington, Ala.,
Memorial donations may be made to Dade County High School in his honor.
Funeral services were Sunday, March 2, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. John Smith officiating.

PAUL WHITE
Richard Paul White, 86, of the New Salem community, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025.
Paul enjoyed over 60 years in the radio industry with the last 25 years at WFLI Radio AM 1070. His career took him and his family all over the United States from his hometown to Michigan, Florida, and Wyoming. Paul deeply loved his family more than anything. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren truly lit up his life.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Rob and Jewell White; son-in-law, Rodney Middleton; brothers-in-law, Sonny Harris, Tice Harris and Billy Gray.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Wanda White; children, Gloria Middleton, Jim (Lisa) White, Penny Keeton, Jeff (Mary Ann) White; 20 grandchildre;, 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Sue Gray; brother-in-law, Kookie (Linda) Harris; sisters-in-law, Shirley Harris and Carolyn Harris; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were Saturday, March 1, at Hawkins Cemetery with Brother Billy Wallace officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff of Tapestry Hospice, Dr. Siobhan Duff, the Honor Guard of American Legion Post 106, family and friends for their support during this difficult time.
