GREG JOHNSON
Greg A. Johnson, 48, of Jasper, Tenn., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025.
Greg was employed with Shaw Industries of South Pittsburg, Tenn., and was also self-employed in construction and tree service. He played football at North Sand Mountain High School, was an avid fisherman and “amateur archaeologist.” Greg loved his wife, children, and many friends with his large heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Johnson; grandmother, Mary Lu Vance; aunt, Ruthie Hanzlik; cousin, Carrie Sue Hanzlik; and special friend, David “Lurch” Thomas.
Survivors include his wife, Tiffanie Wilson Johnson; children, Jonathan Curtis Johnson, David Tyler Johnson, Ruthie Elaine Johnson, one special baby on the way, and Harley Boyd; mother, Peggy Johnson; special friends, Shane, Scottie, and Kyle Clark, and Brent Chapman.
Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 21, in the funeral home chapel with Tony Turner officiating.

CHARLOTTE RICHARD
Charlotte R. Richard, 88, of Trenton, passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2025.
Mrs. Richard was employed by Lupton City, and then later retired from Shaw Industries (Armstrong) following 25 years of service. She was a member of Bryant Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling in her RV with her late husband of 64 years, Andrew J. Richard.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Una Avans; siblings, Charcy Cloud, Patricia Phillips, and Donald Avans.
Survivors include her children, Terry (Renee) Richard of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Sharon (George) Beaty, Evensville, Tenn., James (Dianna) Richard, Sale Creek, Tenn., and Ronnie (Leslie) Richard, Madison, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronald (Deidra) Avans, Neocia Bolton, and Larry (Loretta) Avans; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Friday, Feb. 21, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Winters officiating. Interment was in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
