On Nov. 5, Dade County residents cast 8,247 ballots. Out of 11,498 registered voters, this was a 72 percent voter turnout. The 2020 November election had about a 68 percent turnout with 7,479 voters, so Dade made strides this year in voter participation. The elections office staff can’t recall a higher turnout in recent history.
Advanced voting also saw a very high turnout, bringing in more than double the election day ballots.
