TERRI BLEVINS
Teresa “Terri” Cecelia Blevins, 65, from Bryant, Ala., passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024.
Terri was known for her kind and generous spirit, always placing her loved ones above all else. She enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting, and cooking; renowned for making some of the best dinner rolls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.D. Ridgway and Laura Mae Mullis.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Chris Blevins; sister, Debbie Hanks; step-father, Robert Mullis; mother-in-law, Jodie Blevins; step-brother, Dennis Mullis; brothers-in-law, Rodney (Kay) Blevins and Greg Blevins; special niece, Michelle Hanks; nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A funeral service in honor of Terri’s life will be today, Aug. 7, at 1 p.m., ET at the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Interment will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 10 a.m., until the service hour.

TRUDY BLEVINS
Trudy Belle Blevins, 70, of Trenton, passed away Aug. 3, 2024.
She was born July 12, 1954, to the late Howard and Nancy Dowdey. Trudy’s devotion to her children and cherished grandchildren was evident to all who knew her. Known for her selflessness, she always prioritized the needs of others. While she displayed moments of feistiness and strong will, her kindness and love shone through.
In addition to her parents, Trudy was preceded in death by her son, Wesley Blevins; sister, Judy Wooten, and step-father, Charles Moreland.
Survivors include her children, Kimberly (Shaun) Williams, Karen Blevins, and Eric Blevins; brothers, Mike (Mary) Dowdey and Chuck Dowdey; daughter-in-law, Brandi Blevins; grandchildren, Tristen Daniels, Madison Williams, Gabriel Williams, Layla Blevins, Presley Blevins, and Ryland Blevins.
Trudy will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with no services at the funeral home.

CHARLOTTE DOWNER
Charlotte Garner Downer, 73, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Charlotte was a Baptist by faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Downer; brothers, Steve and David Garner, and great-grandchild, Jasmine Jones.
Survivors include her daughter, Carla Avans of Trenton; grandchildren, Ciara Carlton, Seth Jones, Bronson (Kaitlyn) Jones, Brooklyn Jones, Bo Smith, and Si Smith; great-grandchildren, Xzavier, Xander, Carlton, and Charleigh McDaniel; brother, Greg (Vickie) Garner; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Friday, Aug. 2, in the funeral home chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Howell officiating. Interment was in New Home Baptist Church cemetery.

LAVON ROBINSON
Estel Lavon Robinson, 82, of Trenton, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2024.
Lavon loved his family dearly. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and traveling. He worked many years as a Quality Engineer at TVA until retirement. He was a United States Navy veteran and a dedicated member of the Trenton Ministry Center.
Lavon was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Robinson; parents Estel and Mary Louise Holder Robinson; and sister, Deloris Ables.
Survivors include his sons, Doug (Kim) Robinson and Shane Robinson; sisters, Diane Smith and Rovine (Clayton) Welden; brother, Keith Robinson; and grandsons, Austin and Dallas Robinson.
Funeral services were Sunday, Aug. 4, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Tinker and Pastor Jaron Tinker officiating. Interment was at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

JEROME TALLEY
Edwin Jerome Talley, 65, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Jerome was a devoted family man, holding his children and grandchildren close to his heart. His love for the outdoors and passion for sports brought him joy throughout his life. Known for his selflessness, Jerome dedicated many years coaching youth football in Dade County. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and dedicated 25 years of service at ADM Trucking.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jimmy Hibbs Talley and his granddaughter, Emma Mae Talley.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Talley; children, Justin Talley, Michael (Faith) Bearden, Chris (Amanda) Talley, Logan (Cameron) Talley, and Mary Talley; brothers, Sonny (Vida) Talley, Mike (Jane) Talley, Randall (Jessica) Talley; sister, Melinda (John) Pauls; grandchildren, Addyson Bearden, Kinzley Talley, Damon Talley, Zayden Talley, and Stratton Bearden; extended family members.

JOE WADE
William Joseph “Joe” Wade, 84, of Bryant, Ala., passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024.
Joe was born Dec. 20, 1939, to the late Dewitt and Dorothy Gass Wade. He was a true nature-loving soul who was known for his quick wit and unrelenting sense of humor, always a prankster with those around him. Joe was a walking encyclopedia of information, so full of history and was more than willing to share random facts and scientific knowledge.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Wade; son, William Joseph “Billy Joe” Wade, Jr.; and brother, Donnie Wade.
Survivors include his children, Jessica (Joshua) Albritton and Charles “Charlie” Wade; siblings, Sandra Buttram, Leon Wade, and Larry Wade; grandchild, Charles Dewitt Wade, II.

ROY LEE WHITED
Roy Lee Whited, 82, of the New Salem community on Lookout Mountain, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2024.
He was born Oct. 2, 1941, to the late James Edgar and Lillian Wallen Whited. Known as a jack–of–all–trades, he had a deep love for storytelling and socializing with others. He also had a passion for the outdoors and deer hunting. Roy Lee was a lifelong resident of Dade County
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his significant other, Donna Perry; and siblings, Lewis Whited, Billy Whited, Georgia May Hester, Mildred Wells, and J.R. Whited.
Survivors include his sons, James (Kelly) Whited and Jimmy Ray Whited; brother, James Edgar Whited Jr.
A graveside service was held Sunday, Aug. 4, at Hawkins Cemetery in New Salem.
The family expresses their gratitude to Elaine Pardue for the compassionate care she provided to Roy Lee during his final days.
