PAUL FULGHUM JR.
Paul Leroy Fulghum Jr., 64, of Wildwood, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024.
Born Nov.11, 1959, Paul was the son of Mattie Stowe Charles and the late Paul Leroy Fulghum Sr. Paul loved his children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them. He enjoyed playing the guitar and spending time outdoors, particularly fishing.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jaqueline Riley Fulghum; stepfather, Wayne Charles, and sisters, Barbara Fulghum Clemmons and Mary Elizabeth Fulghum.
Survivors include his children, Misty (Michael) Williams and Cage Fulghum; mother, Mattie Joan Charles; grandchildren, Makenlie, Ryan, and Trever Williams; sister, Tesha Charles Sloan; brothers, Jackie and Jeff Charles; nieces and nephews.
A graveside service honoring Paul’s life was Friday, July 12, at Sarah’s Chapel Cemetery with Brother Mike Howell officiating.

DELILAH HOLCOMB
Mattie Delilah Holcomb, 73, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
Delilah was the youngest of 10 children born to William Harley and Mattie Bell Mullins on Dec. 17, 1950. She lived most of her life in Trenton, where she raised her two sons. During her life, she worked several jobs, one of her favorites being the owner of Video World. Her last job, and one she enjoyed the most, was working in the lunch room at Davis Elementary.
In addition to her parents, Delilah was preceded in death by her husband, “Boodle” Holcomb; brothers, Wimp, Arvel, Bud, Lester, L.C., and David; and sisters, Kathleen, Corene, and Shirley.
Survivors include her sons, Anthony (Connie) Mullins and Matthew Holcomb; grandchildren, Elizabeth Mullins and Ryan D’Anna; and great-granddaughter, Layla Blevins.
Funeral services were Thursday, July 11, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Steve Moore officiating. Interment was at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org in honor of Delilah.
A special thanks to the nurses of Hearth Hospice for their compassionate care of Delilah in her final days.

VERNELL LYNCHARD
Dezzie Vernell Lynchard, 79, of Trenton, and previous 37 year resident of Casselberry, Fla., passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
She was born May 30, 1945 and was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives. Vernell loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. She was a humble, gentle woman, and a diligent prayer warrior. Vernell had a passion for service and would joyfully offer her help and time to anyone in need.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Robert Lynchard and Oliver (Bill) Beaty; parents, Charlie and Ruth Polk; sister, Maxine Maxson.
Survivors include her daughter Susan (Tim) Self of Trenton; step-children, Karen Beck of Merritt Island, Fla., Cynthia (Robert) Clark of Toccoa, Brenda Waldron of Virginia Beach, Va., and Philip Beaty of Virginia Beach, Va.; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ray Polk of Milton Fla., Bobby Polk of Milton, Fla., Joyce Schroeder of Falls Church, Va., and Judy (Bill) Vincent of Cameron, Wis.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m., at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home located at 994 E Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, Fla. Interment will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry, Fla.
