Temporary Bridge Construction At Squirrel Town Creek Begins

In preparation for construction on the Highway 11 bridge over Squirrel Town Creek (by Slygo Road), construction of a temporary bridge is underway. On May 30, Ted Rumley (county executive) reported that construction of the temporary bridge is estimated to take 60 days, and work on the main bridge will take at least a year. The temporary one-way bridge will have a stoplight installed to control traffic.
