ANGELINA DAVIS

Angelina Marie Albanese Davis, 57, of Trenton, passed away Monday, April 22.

Born in Groton, Conn., Angelina brought light and love to all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Albanese, Jr., and Timothy Corbett.

Survivors include her husband, James, of Trenton; son, William “Billy” Senuta, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; mother, Judy Hancock, Boynton Beach, Fla.; father, Joseph Albanese, Sr., of Philadelphia, Pa.

RUTH NELSON

Ruth Nelson, 93, of Bryant, Ala., passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Nelson; daughter, Loretta Gass; parents, Luther and Flora Smith; five brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include her children, James Nelson of Bryant, Ala., Dennis (Evon) Nelson of Bryant, Ala., and Densie (William) Lynn of Bryant, Ala.; grandchildren Brad Gass, Brian Gass, Tiffany Graham, Gene Nelson, Jeremy Nelson, and Summer Vaughn; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Helen Nelson and Christine Hopkins; brother, Donald Smith; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at noon today, May 1, in the funeral home chapel with Chaplin David Hill officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m., ET at Skirum Methodist Church Cemetery located at 2999 County Road 20, Crossville, AL 35962.

The family will receive friends today from 10 a.m., until the service time.

BRENDA ROGERS

Brenda Lee White Rogers, 54, of Chickamauga, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024.

Brenda was born Sept. 7, 1969, to Larry White and the late Patricia White. She was known for her quick wit and funny sense of humor. Brenda cherished her family deeply; her life revolved around her daughter Carrington. Animals held a special place in Brenda’s heart, as evidenced by her years of work at Safe Haven Ranch. She was also a huge supporter of the Gordon Lee Marching Band.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia White; and father-in-law, Steve Rogers.

Survivors include her husband, Jonathan Rogers; daughter, Carrington Rogers; father, Larry (Rhonda) White; siblings, Tammy (Mike) Long and Matthew White; mother-in-law, Joyce Rogers; sisters-in-law, Michele Thompson, Tamara (Dale) Barron, Robin Blackwell, and Krista Tilley; nieces, nephews, extended family members.

Funeral services were Friday, April 26, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Dewayne Roberson and Barry Pritchett officiating. Interment was at Higdon Cemetery.

BOB VALERO

Robert “Bob” Harold Valero, 68, of Flat Rock, Ala., passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Born Dec. 6, 1955, in Hoboken, N.J., Bob was the son of the late Warren and Mildred Valero. He dedicated 26 years to serving in the United States Navy until retirement. He served with honor during Desert Storm. An avid lover of nature, Bob was a member of the Chattanooga Camping Club, however, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He attended East Brow Baptist Church and volunteered at the Cartersville Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Aubrey Julianne and Ava Julia Russell.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Valero; daughters, Amber Joyce (Jason) Russell and Aimee Jo (Jason) Cooley; siblings, Judith (Bill) Sayle, Bernice (Mike) Alvarez, Marie Valero, Joanne Valero, Richard (Gale) Valero, Kenneth (Jane) Valero, and David Valero; grandchildren, Jayden Cooley, Alyson Cooley, Loren Russell, and Lawsen Russell; great-grandson, Axel Miller; extended family members.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 27, at the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Charles Smith officiating. Interment was at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Scottish Rite Hospital in memory of Aubrey.
