Residential Fire Causes One Fatality

On Saturday, Oct. 28, the following agencies responded to a residential fire on Murphy Hollow Road: Trenton-Dade County, North Dade, Davis, and New Home fire departments; Dade County Sheriff’s Office, Dade County Coroner’s Office, Georgia State Fire Marshal.
The fire destroyed the home and tragically claimed a life. The fire is under investigation.

Dade Elementary School is collecting donations for the family at the school’s front office: Boy’s clothing: 7/8, 14/16, adult medium (no jeans), shoe sizes 1–1/2, 4–1/2, 7–1/2, Women’s clothing: 2X shirts, 16 in jeans, Men’s clothing: XL shirts, 32×34 jeans.
