Sen. Moore Calls for Emergency Session
Georgia State Senator Colton Moore has penned a letter to Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger demanding an emergency legislative session.
The purpose of this session is to conduct a thorough investigation into the actions undertaken by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, ensure the integrity of legal proceedings, and uphold the principles of justice that form the bedrock of our country.
Sen. Moore released the following statement to the press: “As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis. America is under attack. I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors weaponize their elected offices to politically target their opponents. We must strip all funding and, if appropriate, impeach Fani Willis. I’m calling on patriots across America to join me in this fight.”
Editor’s note: While some citizens have expressed their appreciation of Moore’s move, our local Democratic Committee issued a statement explaining their stance against the session.
The statement reads: “The Dade County Democratic Committee condemns Senator Moore’s call for an emergency session of the state assembly as nothing but an attempt to raise money and self-glorify at the expense of the truth, the judicial process, the members of the Fulton County grand jury, and most of all DA Willis herself. We encourage Governor Kemp to ignore our State Senator entirely on this.”
