As part of the Dade County Public Library’s summer reading program, Superintendent Josh Ingle, County Executive Ted Rumley, and Mayor/EMA Director Alex Case read books to the 89 children in attendance. Pictured here, Ingle reads “Bear and the Piano.” He also read “Perfectly Polite Penguins.” Rumley read “One Night in a Zoo” and “Put Me in a Zoo.” Case read “Fire Truck vs. Dragon” and “Chief Rhino to the Rescue.” After the reading time, kids got to see inside an ambulance, fire truck, and police car.
