White Advances to District Oratorical Contest

The Trenton-Dade Optimist Club Oratorical Contest showcased the speech writing and presenting talents of students from all four Dade County schools. On Feb. 14 in the Dade County High School auditorium, eight presenters gave speeches on the topic of “Discovering the Optimism Within Me.” Dillyn White (Dade Elementary School) earned third place, Madison Cain (Dade Middle School) came in second, and as first place winner, Emma White (Dade Elementary School) will be representing Dade County at the district competition.
