2023 Music Lineup for 1945 Dade County Fair Released by Organizers
Hunter Girl will headline this year’s 1945 Dade County Fair.
The music lineup is set for the upcoming 1945 Dade County Fair on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
The day will begin with Southwind, a Chattanooga Bluegrass band that has played the fair since its inception in 2017.
Next, Solt, a local artist, will take the stage at 2:00 p.m., followed by Mechele Berry, a local popular Christian artist, and then rising country artist Chris Shupe at 5:30 p.m.
The evening headliner is Hunter Girl, an American Idol finalist coming to us from Winchester, Tenn. She will perform on the Jenkins Park stage at 7:30 p.m.
Hunter has been performing since the age of three and writing songs since the age of nine. She has performed at venues all across America, winning the 2014 Texaco Country Showdown. After high school, she moved to Nashville. She has won country song writing contests such as Nash Next and Nashville Songwriters Association.
With a deep admiration and commitment to the military, Hunter uses military experiences to write songs. She has played with country legends Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Alan Jackson, Trace Adkins, and Charlie Daniels Band. She won the heart of superstar Luke Bryan on her American Idol journey. Her American Idol debut song “Redbird” reached #1 on the iTunes country charts.
