MICHELLE GARLICK

Michelle Denise Garlick, 59, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022.

In life, Michelle loved to teach, especially pre-school aged children. She loved to be surrounded by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Garlick of N.C., and brother, Ian Colberg of California.

Survivors include her mother, Ryckie Colberg; brother, Wesley Colberg; sister-in-law, Nanette Colberg; sister, Nan Colberg; son, Thane Snyder; daughter, Carra DiGusto; daughter-in-law, Amanda Swab; niece, Kascandra Colberg and family; granddaughter, Kayla Grand and family; grandson, Alan Schmale, Jr.

A celebration of life was Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Battle Creek Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, Tenn.

RHONDA MILLICAN

Rhonda Gail Millican, 68, of Higdon, Ala.. passed away on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022.

Rhonda was born Oct. 15, 1954, to Larry and Ruth Young. She graduated Red Bank High School and worked in restaurant management until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family and feeding everyone and anyone with her passion for cooking. Rhonda was a longtime member of Trenton Ministry Center and had a heart for missions.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, little Larry Young and Randy Young; loving friend, Lella Morgan.

Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Breland Millican; daughters, Brandy (Doug) Aldridge, Amanda (Jason) Daniel, and Sandee Lee; sons, Joseph (Rhona) Lee and Joshua Millican; grandchildren, Carlos Aldridge, Juliet Aldridge, Hannah Millican, Joseph Lee, Samuel Lee, Branson Lee, Paris Lee, Brandy (Michael) Christopher, Jacob (Shayna) Daniel, Michael (Peyton) Daniel, Austin Sharp, Kylee Lee, Bella Lee, Camus Lee, Maggie Lee, Isaac Millican; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Connie Cartwright and Starla Yarborough; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 21 at the Trenton Ministry Center with Brother Randy Tinker officiating. Interment was at Higdon Cemetery.

SUSIE REEVES

Bonnie Sue “Susie” Reeves, 78, of Bryant, Ala., passed away on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022.

Susie was born July 14, 1944, to Arthur and Bonnie Smith Kinsey. She was a loving wife, sister, and aunt. In addition to being a big Alabama fan, she loved to fish.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tracy Lee Reeves; brothers, Shirley Edwin “S.E.”, Royce Calvin, and Arthur Eugene “Jew” Kinsey.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Billy Reeves; sister, Sally Ellis; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bryant, Ala., with Brother Logan Kinsey officiating.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Alabama for their compassionate care during this time.

BETTY STEIN

Betty Rose Stein, 90, of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Sauk Village, Ill., passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2022.

Mrs. Stein was a longtime employee of Kmart in Chicago Heights, Ill. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Sauk Village, Ill., and St. Stephens Catholic Church in Chattanooga, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Thaddeus Stein.

Survivors include her daughter, Mickie (Michael) Donnelly of Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandson, Mike (Karina) Donnelly of Ringgold; great-grandchildren, Diana, Alex, Izzy, and Sierra.
