Town Creek Trail & Two Businesses Open

Attendees of the Town Creek Trail ribbon cutting on Dec. 2 included Scenic Dade members (the non-profit leading the trail project), County Commissioners Lamar Lowery and Robert Goff, Alliance for Dade members, Jeremy McDowell (contractor who built the trail), and other interested citizens. They gathered at the portion of the trail behind Citizens Bank and Trust.

At the Trenton Pharmacy ribbon cutting on Nov. 30, owner Ritaben Shah said, “We offer free deliveries and serve Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. I am trying to help people not have to drive so far to Walmart, so I am matching their prices.” Shah said she provides her cell number so that people can contact her outside of business hours to quickly get prescriptions filled. At the Roddy Rooster’s Wash & Detail ribbon cutting on Dec. 1, owner Katilyn Reeves said, “We are located right on the town square. We provide car washing and detailing of all vehicles; boats, campers, and RV’s.
