BOBBY BELUE
Bobby J. Belue, 78, of Trenton, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022.
Bobby was employed as a truck driver for Georgia Marble for 20 years. He was a dedicated husband, father, and family man, and attended Hope Church in Trenton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Bernice Chamblee Belue; siblings, Kenneth, Cliff, Bill and Roy Belue, and Nellie Ruth Davis.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, June Belue; children, Joann (Bo) Jackson, Melinda (John) Quann, and Bobby Joe “B.J.” (Laura) Belue, Jr., Sheri (Chris) Bedwell, Lisa (Rick) McKinney, Mandy (Richard) Brooks and Ashley (Juan) Gonzales; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Belue Gass; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be today, Sept. 14 at 12:30 p.m., at the Belue Cemetery in Bryant, Ala., with Rev. Rodney Brown officiating. The family will receive friends today from 10 a.m. until noon EST at the funeral home.

CODY BUSBY
Cody Ray Busby, 36, of Bryant, Ala., passed away Monday, Sept.5, 2022 in an auto accident.
Cody was born Dec. 29, 1985, to Dennis and Pam Busby. He was a loving father, son, and brother. Cody loved being a daddy and spending time with his girls. He loved all things outdoors and could be found hunting and fishing. Cody will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, John Henry and Elmira Busby; great-grandmother, Pearl Hawkins; cousins, Jonathan McDowell, Chris Rice, and Caleb Wright; uncle, Melvin Tucker.
Survivors include his parents, Dennis and Pam Busby; daughters, Makayla and Mallorie Busby; sister, Tangie (Chris) Harvey; brother, Jonathan (Jenn) York; grandparents, James and Erthelene Lea; nephews, Christian, Carson, Ryker, and Zander.
Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 8 at the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Bro. Reggie Byrum officiating. Interment was in Oak Lawn Memorial Park in Bryant, Ala.

ED DANIELS
Virgil Edward “Ed” Daniels, 79, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022.
Ed was born Feb. 18, 1943, to Virgil and Francis Daniels and was a lifelong resident of Dade County. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved antique tractors and was a member of Peach State Antique Tractor and Engine Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Daniels; sister, Faye (Sissy) Gardner.
Survivors include his sons, Mike (Julie) Daniels, Mark (Cynthia) Daniels; grandchildren, Joseph Daniels, Luke Daniels, Loran (Walley) Grasham, Haven (Austin) Price, John Price, and Ace Gothard; nieces and nephews, Curtis Gordy, Kendall Christopher, Katrina Fugate, Tommy Gardner, Barry Gardner, and Dewayne Gardner; special friends, Midge Robinson, Don and Frankie Chambers, Lem and Cindy Sullivan, Scott Parker, Bob and Kim Lollar, and Dennis and Diane Burgess.
Graveside services were Friday, Sept. 9 at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jim Hixon officiating.

SHIRLEY DANIELS
Shirley Faye Daniels, 86, of Rising Fawn, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2022.
Mrs. Daniels was born in Lineville, Ala., on July 27, 1936. She was the oldest of five siblings and later moved to the Rising Fawn community on Lookout Mountain with her family. She was an active member of New Lookout Baptist Church since the 1950s and spent her early years helping her mother take care of her younger siblings. Mrs. Daniels later met her future husband, Wilfred, at a baseball game in New Salem and the two later wed in 1955. They were happily married for 57 years until Wilfred’s death in 2013. Mrs. Daniels spent her early years working alongside her sisters at the Olan Mills off Broad Street and later became self-employed by starting her residential cleaning business. Mrs. Daniels was happiest when spending time with her family, singing gospel hymns with her sisters as the musical group, “The Whispering Sisters,” and hosting large family luncheons. Mrs. Daniels was a kind and loving woman who enjoyed her faith, church, and family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Howard Daniels; parents, Quinton E.P. Hodnett and Goldie Ree Yates; sister, Carol Hodnett; brother, Mickey Hodnett; grandparents, Luther and Roxy Hodnett.
Survivors include her son, Gregory Dale Daniels, and daughter-in-law Beverly Daniels, of Lookout Mountain; son, Jeffrey Jerome Daniels, and daughter-in-law Brenda Daniels, of LaFayette; grandchildren, Andrea (Andrew) Barker, of Marietta, Gregory Dale (Jennifer) Daniels Jr., of Trenton, Lindsey Daniels, of Chattanooga, Tenn., Heath (Valerie) Daniels, of Rising Fawn, Sarah (Manuel) Barnett of Fairfield, Calif.; step-grandson, Nicholas (Rebecca) Clayson, of Hopewell, Va.; great-grandchildren, Alleigh, Brody, and Josie Daniels, Sophia and Logan Barnett, Gabriel Daniels, Landon and Levi Kirk, Harlynn Daniels, and Kell Barker; siblings, Judy Fitzgerald, of Rising Fawn, Randy Hodnett, of Lookout Mountain, and Sandra Kathy West, of Ringgold; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 8 at New Lookout Baptist Church. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Funeral services were officiated by Jeff Daniels and the interment was officiated by Greg Daniels.

Susan Elizabeth Huffstutler, 83, of Trenton, passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2022.
She was born Jan. 4, 1939. She was of the Church of God faith and attended New Life Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Pete” Huffstutler; parents, Riley and Maragret Cuzzort; father, William Blanchard; sisters, Claudia Hawkins and Marlene Crocker; brother, Richard Cuzzort.
Survivors include her daughters, Robin Jones, Jacquelyn McCord, and Rachel (Richard) Ford; grandchildren, Stephanie (Aaron) Cooper, Oliver McCord Jr., Heather (Justin) Ellison, Victoria (Jose) Bustos; great-grandchildren, Lexi Mussared, Elijah Hoofman, Sophia Flores, Reed Ellison, Camila Bustos, Matias Bustos; nieces and nephews.

Carolyn Millican-Hurst, 74, of Flat Rock, Ala., passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Lola Mae Millican; brother, Rev. Dwight Millican; grandson, Bosten Adcock.

Cheryl Lynn Smith-Morgan, 64, of Trenton, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2022.
Cheryl was a 1976 graduate of Northwest Georgia High School, enjoyed gardening with her flowers, watching hummingbirds, and spending time with her 4-legged companion “Spooky.”
She was preceded in death by her father, Verley Smith.
Survivors include her daughter, Amada Morgan (Gary Gunter) of Trenton; granddaughter, Mae Morgan; mother, Arbutice Smith, Trenton; brothers, Tony (Tracy) Smith, and Barry (Lori) Smith; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

MARTHA NORRIS
Martha S. Norris, 77, of Rock Springs, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022.
Martha was born Sept. 5, 1944 in Gadsden, Ala. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend that anyone could ask for. Martha spent her life doing what she enjoyed the most, taking care of others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rollen and Nellie Wright; grandson, Phillip Adam; great-granddaughter, Bethany Watson; and brother, Donald Wright.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Wade Norris; daughters, Sheree (DeWayne) Murray, Pam Norris and Crystal (Jason) Willoughby; sons, Phillip Norris and Quinton (Emily) Norris; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.

Janet Irene York, 64, of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022.
Janet was a 1975 graduate of Davis High School and a member of Trenton First Baptist Church. She was co-owner of Larry’s Restaurant in Trenton for 42 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Margie Shavers.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Larry York; children, Rebecca (Anthony) Jones, and Phillip (Rhiannon) York, all of Trenton; grandsons, Wesley, Andy, Michael and Ben; brothers, Daniel and David Shavers; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were Friday, Sept. 9 at Trenton Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Cantrell officiating.
