REV. DONALD MORELAND
Rev. Donald Moreland, 81, of Trenton, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022.
Brother Don pastored 16 churches and had preached the gospel for more than 55 years. He had a heart for his sheep. He visited them and was a comfort to them in troubled times. He ministered to the haves and have-nots, from millionaires to paupers, and loved them all the same. If his folks had needs, he was there to lend a helping hand. In his many years of pastoring, he won many souls to the Lord. Rev. Moreland was born Aug.16, 1940, in Chattanooga, Tenn., to the late Loyd and Thelma Moreland.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Glen and Ben Moreland; and sister, Gay Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Moreland; his family, Jana (Tommy) Wooten, Angie (Jeff) Galloway, Clay (Lisa) Moreland, Doug (Kristie) Conaway, Alisha (Jimmy) Collins, Kirby (Jana) Hill, Megan (Cory) Crabtree; twin brother, Ronald Moreland; niece, Treva Ellis; grandchildren, Keeley (Sam) Farmer, Haven (Daniel) McAllister, Jake Conaway, Sara Grace Conaway, Aubrey Hill, Alondra Hill, Allister Hill, Adrian Hill, Boone Crabtree and Cove Crabtree.
Funeral services were Sunday, June 26 in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Don Bailey, Rev. Kirby Hill, and Rev. Clay Moreland officiating. Interment was in the Ivey-Moreland Memorial Park in the New Home community.

PAULA ROLLINGS
Paula Lynnette Rollings, 63, of Rising Fawn, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, following complications from Guillain-Barré syndrome.
Paula was originally from Jasper, Tenn., and was a 1977 graduate of Marion County High School, where she was the feature majorette for the marching band. She was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired nurse.
Paula is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Drue Morgan; mother, Dimple Bouldin Rollings; father, Paul Rollings; and brothers, Terry Rollings and Michael Rollings.
Survivors include her daughter, Taylor Morgan (Brian) Gray of Trussville, Ala.; grandchildren, Laney, Jackson, Abby Gray, and Tristan Morgan; children’s father, Jody Morgan of Birmingham, Ala.; previous husband and close friend, Sammy Armstrong of Grove Oak, Ala.; sister, Donna (Philip) Pugliese of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and brother, David Rollings of Roswell, N.M.; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, July 17 at 2 p.m., EDT at Covey Creek Farms in Ringgold.

DALLAS SAWYER
Dallas Leon Sawyer, 74, of Higdon, Ala., passed away Monday, June 20, 2022.
Mr. Sawyer was a Barber in Trenton for many years. He enjoyed visiting friends and vendors at trade day most weeks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Lorriane Smithson Sawyer; sisters, Earline Staples, Barbara “Bobby” Dail, Almeda “Dot” Jurlovic, and Ramona Pugh; brothers, James, Roy, Ray, Dennis and Rex Sawyer.
Survivors include wife, Tresia Pritchett Sawyer; children, Anthony (Tony) Sawyer, Valerie Ann Harris, and Sonya Holmes; grandchildren, Anthony Lane, Brittany Jones, Haley Riddick, Warren Smith, and Ryan Smith; great-grandchildren, Amir Beale, Malaya O’Neal, Athyn Smith and Bryson Smith.
A memorial service was Friday, June 24 at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jody Gray and Bro. Rodney Romans officiating.

CORA WILSON
Cora Lue Wilson, 87, of Ocala, Fla., passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Friends and family were blessed by her generosity and kindness throughout her life. She was raised on Lookout Mountain and was a member of the Free Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel Griffin-Kilgore and William Clyde Kilgore;
brothers, David Clyde Kilgore, Curmon Kilgore, Jim Kilgore, and Herbert Lee Kilgore;
sisters, Travolis Kilgore, Vaudie Sprinkett, and Marilyn Lemley.
Survivors include her daughters, Martha Lue Brewer and Susan Renee Nelson; grandchildren, Amy (Randy) Brazier, Melissa (Kenny) Gamble, Shawn (Amanda) Nelson, Stacey (John) Abrams; 10 great–grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Harold B. Kilgore.
Graveside service were Saturday, June 25 at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
